This bi-monthly virtual seminar is organized by the AGENART research group led by M. Cruz de Carlos Varona and housed at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. The group is dedicated to the study of artistic agency among women affiliated with the Spanish branch of the Habsburg Monarchy in the 16th and 17th centuries. It is particularly aimed at emerging scholars.

In this installation, Francisco José García Pérez will discuss images of Queen Marie Louise d’Orléans (queen consort of Spain, 1679-1689).
