The fellowship is awarded for a full academic year from the start of October 2024 until the end of June 2025. It carries a stipend of £30,000, plus other College benefits. Taxation in the UK and elsewhere depends on the individual circumstances of the candidate and independent personal advice should be taken as necessary.
The successful candidate will become a member of the academic community of the European Studies Centre, and a Visiting Fellow of St Antony’s College. They will be expected to reside in Oxford during tenure, to pursue their own research, to participate fully in the academic life of the European Studies Centre at Oxford and deliver lecture(s).
The European Studies Centre, with the advice of the Fellow, will organize an annual conference, through their networks and contacts with academics who could be invited to present their work at the Centre, bringing together scholars and interested parties from Spain, the UK and elsewhere.
