Hispanic Research Journal – Visual Arts Issue

The Hispanic Research Journal (HRJ) is the leading forum for research into the cultures of the Iberian Peninsula and Latin America from the medieval period to the present day. Publishing articles in Spanish, Portuguese, Catalan and English, the journal promotes collaboration among a global community of researchers in the fields of literature and literary theory; cultural history and cultural studies; language and linguistics; and film and theatre studies.

Every year since 2007, one issue of HRJ has been dedicated to the visual arts, and from 2021, a member of SIGA joined the editorial board as co-editor.

The editors welcome submissions that explore material relating to the arts of Hispanic world broadly conceived, especially those exploring the visual culture of Latin America and featuring innovative, interdisciplinary approaches.
